Ras Charmer’s debut album, produced by reggae icons Sly & Robbie, helped establish his reputation as a true rootsman. His breakout track ā€œMamaā€ gained widespread radio play, video success, and a coveted placement on the soundtrack of the film Rude Boy. His performances soon caught international attention, leading to a tour in Switzerland, where his impact was so powerful he was invited to stay permanently.
